We all have (or should have) those companies which support our mission – be in through discounts, donations, shopping perks or whatever. A nice way to recognize them is through the Sponsor scroll at the bottom of your home page.
It’s super easy to add sponsors to the scroll!
- Before you add the sponsor to the Back End of Buzz, you will need to make sure you have either a jpg or png file of the sponsor’s logo at a resolution of 250×250 pixels. You can create this in any image editing software that you are accustomed to working in such as Photoshop or Canva.
- Log into the back end of the website. Once in, hover over your name in the right-hand corner until you get a drop-down menu. Select Sponsors.
- You will get a page which lists all the sponsors currently on your website.
- To add a sponsor, click on the Add Sponsor button at the top left of the page.
- First, please give the sponsor file a name so the minions of website filing know where to put it and you can find it later!
- Next, set the image for the sponsor by clicking on Set Featured Image.
- That will open your media library where you can select the image (usually the company logo) you want to use. If it is not in the library already, you will need to add it via Upload Images. If you’re not sure how to do that, please see our sheet on Adding Images to You Library.
- Once you’ve selected the image, click on Set Featured Image in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Next, you are going to want to add the link to their webpage.
- Finally, click on Publish in the upper right corner of the screen.
- And Voila! The sponsor is now added to the scroll – (you may have to refresh your home page to check).
All done! Now wasn’t that an easy way to acknowledge your supporter? (By the way, you can add as many as you want, just keep repeating the steps until you are done.)
