In this article, we will walk you through the steps to authenticate the main eMail address in the Buzz DogHouse if you use Gmail. This is found in the Rescue Profile

So, let’s get started:

1. Login to myaccount.google.com with your gmail. NOTE: This is the Gmail address you are using in the DogHouse as the main eMail address
2. Go to security
3. Scroll down to “How You Log Into Google” and look to see if 2 Factor Authentication is on. If it isn’t, you’ll need to turn it on.
4. Now that you have that, up at the top of the page you will see “Search Google Account”. In that search, type “App Passwords” and choose the top option
5. On the next page, you will type Buzz SMTP into the “App Name” Field and click “Create”
6. A pop-up will appear. Copy that code, click done and reply to this email with the code.
