Question:  How Do I Add Documents?
Detailed Answer:

So, let’s say you have some medical documents you need to attach to a dog’s file, or an applicant filled out an application the old fashioned way with pen and paper and you want to save it to the dog’s and/or adopter’s profile, or you are trying to get rid of some old paper files and want to upload the contract to an adopted dog’s file – no matter the document, as long as it is in PDF format or a picture in .jpg or .png format, it can be uploaded to the folder.

  1. First, from the Dashboard, go to the Pet Roster and select the pet for whom you want to add documents (it works the same way with people too):
  2. That will open the dog’s profile where you will click on the Documents Tab:
  3. You will then get a screen to upload the documents:
  4. You can “Drag and Drop” if you are working with a split screen, and if you don’t know what that is, use the Add Files button. When you use the Add Files button, it will open your computer directory so you search for and select the file(s) you want to upload:
  5. Select your file(s) and click “Open,” and your files will upload.
  6. Continue until all files you want in the Documents section have been uploaded. You’ll get a little Success notation when each file has finished uploading.
  7. To add them to in the Index for the dog (or adopter), click Start.
  8. If you want to view any of the documents, just click on the document in the index and a pop-up window will magically appear with the document.

Now wasn’t that easy? And all your documents for each dog are in one place, instead of scattered about around your office!
