Question: Editing a Pet’s Profile
Detailed Answer:
Has the status of a pet changed? Want to Add information? Found an oops? It’s easy to edit the information on a pet in a few easy steps!
- After you log into the back end of the website, go to Dogs (or Cats) on the left side menu:
- From the roster, select the pet you want to edit:
- To get to the dog’s bio, click on the little circle with an arrow:
- From here, you can make any edits to the Public Facing Information by clicking on the item you want to edit and making your changes.
- For example, the medical condition that made the dog Special Needs has cleared up or the dog has been tested with kids now, etc.
- To make text edits to the dog’s brief or full description, scroll down to the description and make the corrections, additions, deletions, etc.
- To add pictures, click in the by the dog’s picture:

Once all edits are done, remember to click on UPDATE (which always hangs out in the upper right-hand corner) – unless, of course, you had so much fun editing you want to do it all again!
